Brian Boucher joins TNT’s NHL coverage

Brian Boucher will join TNT’s top line as its “between the benches” analyst and will be part of its future Stanley Cup coverage, The Post has learned.

In the process, Boucher will leave ESPN to reunite with his former NBC teammates, top play-by-player Kenny Albert and game analyst Eddie Olczyk.

TNT’s “between the boards” position opened up when Keith Jones became the president of hockey operations for the Flyers.

TNT had the Stanley Cup last season, which makes it ESPN/ABC’s turn this year.

Albert, Olczyk and Boucher will have the final call for the 2024-25 season.

TNT has regular season and playoff action, including a conference final every year.

Though Boucher’s main role will be between the benches, Turner could use him on some studio work, as well.

Boucher, 46, began his broadcast career in 2013 right after he retired following 13 years as an NHL goalie.

He’s moved up the ranks, landing top spots with NBC before transitioning to ESPN when it got its half of the rights.
