The Broncos are upgrading at Dove Valley.
The club is moving forward with a plan to rebuild its team headquarters and training facility, it announced Tuesday morning.
A source told The Post the price tag checks in at about $175 million.
Work on the project is set to begin in the spring with a projected completion date of 2026.
The overhaul will include new spaces for football and business.
The Broncos’ current setup at Dove Valley includes three different buildings, with the Centura Health Training Center, an adjacent building and the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse and team store.
CEO Greg Penner at the outset of training camp outlined some of the reasons the Broncos were considering a new headquarters but also why they wanted to stay at Dove Valley.
“We love this location. We own the land here,” he said in late July. “This is obviously where we would like to be. That being said, the building that we are in now is a bit small, especially when you look at the locker room and the mode of player travel throughout the building. It’s not connected to the weight room or the (fieldhouse).”
Now they’ll be able to design a campus to take the franchise well into the future.
From a team news release, here are some quick hits on the new facility, which is set to be built West of the current facility on the plaza level, likely around the parking lots currently adjacent to the team store, and will connect to the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse:
* It will feature more than 205,000 square feet, about a 30% increase over current.
* It will feature 21,000 more square feet for player space, about a 33% increase, including a larger locker room, meeting rooms, weight rooms and more. The first floor of the facility will be designed to optimize the way a day unfolds for a player and make moving through the facility efficient.
*The second floor will be dedicated to football operations and the third floor to business operations, where more than 70 employees will be moving from Empower Field.
*The new facility will also include a berm on the east side of the campus, a new spot where fans will watch training camp practices.
