Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos is not entertaining talks about his team being influenced by Mamelodi Sundowns players.
Sundowns had six players in Bafana’s starting line-up against Benin on Saturday in a World Cup qualifier at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Broos’ men won the match 2-1 and after the match, many fans were quick to point out the Brazilian influence in the squad.
Broos though, said his players won the game, and not Sundowns players.
Broos said focus should not be on which clubs his players play for
“But it’s not only that and I will not tell you that it’s because of those players that we won the game,” said Broos after the match.

“We played with 11 players. We even played with 15 because there were some changes in the second half with the injuries. So there were less players from Sundowns but we won the game
“Don’t make a story about that. Whether it’s a Sundowns player, Pirates or SuperSport player or whatever, for me it’s more important that I have a team and a team that wins so it’s not because of them or others,” said Broos.

Bafana are in action again on Tuesday against Rwanda.
A win away will see Broos men four points clear in their group.
