Bryant Giles is leveraging his artwork for a new collaboration.
The artist and fashion designer behind Gone Homme is teaming up with Anti Social Social Club for a loungewear collection that utilizes the characters from Giles’ upcoming animated series, “Mr. Guy.”
The collection offers styles like T-shirts, polos, crewnecks, hoodies, shorts, sweatpants and accessories in an array of bright colors and tie-dye prints that feature Giles’ characters.
“Anti Social Social Club is a staple in streetwear, so it felt like it made sense for me to collaborate with them,” Giles said. “For the collection, we really tried to encapsulate Mr. Guy’s universe, a collection of characters inspired by everyday people, which figure prominently in my artwork. I also wanted to tie in worldly influences, especially Japan, where we shot the campaign and where I am currently working on new artwork. We wanted to capture the same vibrancy and expression in the characters we chose. Really, we aimed to create a fun and comfortable collection.”
The collection is part of Anti Social Social Club’s artist series, where the streetwear brand creates multidisciplinary collections with a variety of artists. The series launched this summer with a collaboration with Los Angeles-based graffiti artist Polo Cutty.
“For our collection, Giles has taken us into the Mr. Guy universe, an animated world of characters and slogans,” read a statement from Anti Social Social Club. “The color palette of the collection takes us through a fusion of the Bryant Giles and Anti Social Social Club emotional spectrum.”
The collection will be available to purchase starting Saturday through Anti Social Social Club’s website. Styles range in price from $45 to $175.
