NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to begin the registration process for BSSTET 2023 today, December 2. Candidates who are interested and wish to apply for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 can visit the official website at bsebstet.com.
The last date to fill and submit the online application form is December 22, 2023.Paper 1 will be conducted for eligibility to become a special school teacher for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 will be held for Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who wish to teach students of Classes 1 to 8 are eligible to apply for both the papers.
The question paper will be formulated from the curriculum covered in Classes 1 to 8 of state government schools. It will consist of multiple-choice questions, totaling 150 marks, with no provision for negative marking. The duration of the exams is set at 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Step 2: On the homepage, find the link available for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test application.
Step 3: Enter your login details and submit.

The board will fill up a total of 7279 vacancies through this examination, of which 5,534 vacancies are for trained special teachers for Classes 1 to 5 and 1,745 vacancies are for Classes 6 to 8.
These trained special teachers of various disabilities will teach students with special needs studying in general schools.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should not be more than 37 years old.
Those who are doing D.El.Ed in Special Education and B.Ed in Special Education will be able to participate in this eligibility test.
Application Fees
The application fee for candidates belonging to the General, EWS, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class categories is Rs 960 for each paper.
Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and Divyang categories will have to pay Rs 760 for each paper and if applying for both then they will be required to pay Rs 1140.
