THE idea of cockroaches being able to live in a penis sounds pretty unlikely.
But a bizarre meme that took the internet by storm suddenly had people Googling the skin-crawling question.
It’s not clear who made the shocking image, but it made the rounds on social media in March 2022 and received thousands of likes.
It’s of a mockup of a Google search asking: “Can cockroaches live in your penis?”
An answer below appears to say: “Absolutely! It’s totally normal too.
“Usually over the course of a year, five to ten cockroaches will crawl into your penis hole while you are asleep and you won’t notice a thing.”
The meme even suggests that the creepy-crawlies get their name from this activity.
Unsurprisingly, this has left men horrified at the thought, and who can blame them?
However, these fears can be put to rest.
