Showrunner
Earlier, when ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’s season 1’ came to an end, it was evident that there was even more to Richter Belmont’s story still to be told. Now Netflix has announced it officially. Showrunner Kevin Kolde and series creator Clive Bradley expressed thanks to the Castlevania fandom for supporting their work. They also teased that coming episodes will continue to chronicle “the rise of Richter Belmont.”
Release date
Netflix has not shared a release date for the second season. But it is not expected this year.
Official Synopsis
In the official synopsis for ‘Nocturne’ it is written that the incident took place in France in 1792 at the height of the French Revolution. It says, “In a remote part of western France, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to ‘eat the sun’ and unleash an army of vampires and night creatures to crush the revolution and enslave humanity. Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, seeks out Richter Belmont, the last descendant of the long-fabled family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance.”
