CBI Apprentice Recruitment 2024: The Central Bank of India, one of the leading Public Sector Banks in India, has invited applications for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and as per the Apprenticeship policy of the Bank. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 3000 vacancies across various branches/offices in the respective regions, as per the discretion of the Bank.
Candidates can opt for only one Region while applying.However, allotment will be based on the need of the Bank and subject to the availability of vacancies. Additionally, candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship either with Central Bank of India or in any other organization earlier, or be pursuing the Apprenticeship Training. Candidates with training or job experience of one or more years after the completion of their educational qualifications shall not be eligible for engagement as apprentices.
Selected candidates will undergo a selection process comprising an Online Written Test and Local Language Proof. The written exam will consist of sections covering Quantitative Aptitude, General English, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, Basic Retail Liability Products, Basic Retail Asset Products, Basic Investment Products, and Basic Insurance Products. Selection will be based on merit, and proficiency in the local language is also required.

CBI Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
Candidates applying for the apprentice positions should be born between 01.04.1996 to 31.03.2004, as per the cut-off date. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWBD, as per the guidelines set by the Government of India.

Aspiring candidates should possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Additionally, candidates should have completed their graduation after 31.03.2020.

Engagement of Apprentices will be subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per the requirements of the Bank.

The period of engagement for apprentices will be twelve months, and the stipend will vary based on the type of branches, ranging from Rs 15,000 per month for Rural/Semi-Urban branches to Urban and Metro branches.
