CBSE to provide CTET August 2023 OMR sheet & Calculation sheet, submit application by Nov 10

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to provide all candidates who have appeared in the CBSE CTET August 2023 exam with a copy of the calculation sheet and a copy of their OMR sheet.
Candidates who wish to obtain their calculation Sheet with a copy of the OMR sheet may apply for the same along with the requisite fee of Rs 500 on or before the last date i.e., November 10, 2023.
“It is notified for information of the candidates that the Board has decided to provide Calculation Sheet with copy of the OMR Sheet to the candidates who have appeared in CTET August 2023 on their request along with prescribed fee,” reads the official notice.
Candidates who have already applied under the RTI Act, 2005, or otherwise may apply afresh for the same along with a required fee of Rs 500 before the prescribed date.
Applicants are advised to mention their Roll No., Name, and address correctly in their application forms. The roll number and name should also be mentioned on the backside of the bank draft. The application, along with a bank draft, intended for the Director CTET, can be submitted via speed post or delivered in person to the CTET Unit, CBSE, P.S. 1-2, I.P. Extension, Patparganj, Delhi-110092.
The Board has also mentioned in the notice that the calculation sheet with a copy of the OMR sheet will not be provided to any school or institution for display, commercial purposes, or print media. Application submitted on behalf of the candidate, and the incomplete application will be rejected by the Board without any further reference.
It shall be noted that the Calculation Sheet with a copy of the OMR Sheet will be provided to the candidate by speed post only. However, no request will be entertained which will be received after November 10, 2023, in this office under any circumstances.
The 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted by the CBSE on August 20, 2023, and the results for the same were announced on September 25, 2023.
This year, a total of 15,01,474 candidates registered for the CTET Paper I, of which 12,13,704 appeared in the exam and 2,98,758 candidates qualified.
Similarly, a total of 14,02,022 candidates registered for CTET 2023 Paper II, of which 11,66,178 appeared in the examination and 1,01,057 candidates qualified.
