Centric Brands inks joint venture with Jennifer Fisher

Centric Brands announced on Wednesday a joint venture with Jennifer Fisher, a New York-based jewelry designer and media personality, the former company’s second joint venture in its folio.

The new venture will leverage the expertise of both companies to expand the Jennifer Fisher brand into new categories, while accelerating domestic and international growth of the Jennifer Fisher core jewelry business.

Launched in 2006, Jennifer Fisher is a maker of jewelry including custom fine jewelry. SInce the brand’s inception, Fisher has expanded the business to include a fashion jewelry collection and a thriving CPG business.

“We are honored to be taking the next step in our business with Centric Brands,” said Jennifer Fisher, founder and chief brand officer.

“We believe the Centric platform will empower us to reach new heights, innovate our product offerings, and strengthen our position as a leader in the jewelry industry.”

Based in New York, Centric designs, sources, markets, and sells products across the kids, men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, beauty, and entertainment categories.

The company’s portfolio includes licenses for more than 100 ibrands, including Airwalk, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Spyder, and Under Armour in the kid’s category; Joe’s Jeans, Buffalo, Hervé Léger, and Izod in the men’s and women’s apparel category; Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, All Saints, Frye, Timberland, Hunter, and Jessica Simpson in the accessories category.

It also owns and operates Zac Posen, Hudson, Robert Graham, Avirex, Fiorelli, and Taste Beauty, and operates a joint venture brand, Favorite Daughter, with Sara and Erin Foster.
