CGBSE Helpline Numbers: Students Seek Help for Exams |

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has released the helpline numbers to psychologically and educationally assist the examinees and parents. The initiative of the CGBSE is to guide teachers, parents, and board candidates.
Deputy Director of the Academics J.K Agarwal told TOI, the helpline numbers seem to be very helpful as all those suffering from fear of examination, anxiety, or issues academically have been calling. On Friday, the counsellors even got a ring from a BSC student to seek help as he was fearing for his upcoming exams.
The helpline numbers work from the morning 11 to evening five everyday except for sundays. The students get to discuss their problems to the subject experts and also the counsellors.
The Board notified that this year subject wise days have been segregated. Subject experts related to physics, chemistry, biology, accountancy, english and mathematics are available from morning 11 to 3:30 in afternoon, Psychiatrist, psychologist and educational counselor are present between two to evening five, added Agarwal.
Assistant Professor of Science Preeti Shukla told TOI, more than 50 children have been calling in a day. While as the week for hard subjects has been released it is expected that around 80 – 100 children might call in a day. We’ve been engaging with children in a friendly and encouraging manner, helping them feel more relaxed.
Mathematics lecturer Akhil Khare from Sant Gyaneshwar Higher Secondary School told TOI, more than 20 children have called since morning.
Students, both from private and government schools, have reached out seeking solutions for mathematical problems. Additionally, parents have been calling to inquire about how they can assist their children in effective preparation.
Students from Bilaspur, Sakti, Koriya, Sukma, and various other districts, including a student from another state last year, have reached out. The helpline numbers have contributed to supporting students mentally, he added.
One of the students who is supposed to appear for the class 10 board exams asked, ‘As an English medium student, can I continue writing in Hindi if I find it difficult to express myself in English.
