According to the released schedule, the Class 12 higher secondary examinations are set to commence on March 9, and conclude on April 6.Simultaneously, the Class 10 high school examinations will kick off on March 3 and extend until April 3, 2024. All exams are scheduled from 1:45 pm to 5 pm.
An official notice highlighted that, even in the event of a declared holiday or local holiday during the examination period, the exams will proceed as per the predetermined schedule.
In the previous academic year, a total of 65,557 students (35,364 boys and 30,193 girls) registered for the CGSOS Class 10 exams. Out of this, 62,051 students appeared, and the results were declared for 57,105 students. For Class 12, 37,471 students registered, with 34,161 appearing in the exams.
The 2023 results revealed 9,653 students securing the first division, 15,180 students securing the second division, and 11,801 students securing the third division. The overall pass percentage stood at 65.46%, with girls outperforming boys with a pass percentage of 67.72% compared to boys at 63.56%. A total of 37,383 students successfully passed the Class 12 or higher secondary exams.
With the release of the 2024 date sheet, students are encouraged to begin their preparations in earnest, recognizing the importance of adhering to the schedule outlined by CGSOS.
