City of Subiaco promises to fix issues with visitor e-permit parking after complaints from residents

The City of Subiaco has promised issues with e-permit parking will be resolved in the coming weeks after complaints from residents.

Subiaco mayor David McMullen admitted at the February 20 council meeting there had been issues with visitor e-permits, which were expected to be fixed by the technology provider EasyPark within a week.

“EasyPark has given the city some commitments they will be prioritising the resources necessary, and their executives will be meeting with the city staff every few days to work through reported issues and solutions,” he said.

“Not everything will be ready within the week, but they are coming. In short, the overall user experience with the platform will improve regardless of the device, and this is a priority.

“The e-permits system is a new system, so it’s not perfect, and we are not too proud to admit that, but the system is functioning, and we can expect improvements and upgrades.”
