In a move to enhance water supply infrastructure, the City of Tshwane has scheduled a crucial upgrade to the water network, which will cause a water outage in Philip Nel Park on Tuesday, 30 January 2024, from 8:00 until 16:00.
The maintenance operation will impact several neighborhoods, including Danville Ext 0, 1, 2, 3, and 8, as well as Elandspoort.

Residents and institutions such as Philip Nel Park, Danville Primary School, Elandspoort High School, General Beyers Primary School, Metro Police Academy, Philip Nel Park Fire Station, Pretoria Golf Club, Pretoria West High School, Pretoria West Hospital, Rebecca Street Crematorium and Cemetery, Tshwane Leadership and Management Academy (Premos), and Tshwane University of Technology (Main Campus) will experience disruptions during the specified period.
“Residents are urged to continue to use water sparingly,” said the City of Tshwane.
