The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has released the results for its Intermediate and Final examinations held in December 2023, spanning syllabi 2016 and 2022. ICMAI administered the CMA December 2023 exams for both levels from December 10-17, 2023, in offline mode.The institute had previously disclosed the CMA Foundation results on January 11, 2024.

Intermediate Examination under the Syllabus 2016
In Group I, a total of 11,720 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 1,268 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 10.82%. For Group II, there were 11,667 candidates who appeared, with 3,763 candidates passing, leading to a pass percentage of 32.25%.
In the category of candidates appearing for both groups, 8,744 candidates took the exam. Among them, 598 candidates passed in either one of the groups, accounting for a pass percentage of 6.84%. Additionally, 611 candidates successfully passed both groups, with a pass percentage of 6.99%. Consequently, a total of 4,374 candidates have completed the Intermediate Course of the Institute following the declaration of these results.

In Group I, a total of 15,629 candidates appeared for the exam, with 1,711 candidates passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 10.95%. For Group II, out of 3,761 candidates who appeared, 723 candidates passed, leading to a pass percentage of 19.22%.
In the category of candidates appearing for both groups, 5,157 candidates took the exam. Among them, 524 candidates passed in either one of the groups, accounting for a pass percentage of 10.16%. Additionally, 943 candidates successfully passed both groups, with a pass percentage of 18.29%. Consequently, a total of 1,474 candidates have completed the Intermediate Course of the Institute following the declaration of these results.

In Group III, a total of 5,704 candidates appeared for the exam, with 651 candidates passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 11.41%. For Group IV, out of 3,676 candidates who appeared, 1,202 candidates passed, leading to a pass percentage of 32.70%.
In the category of candidates appearing for both groups, 2,592 candidates took the exam. Among them, 506 candidates passed in either one of the groups, accounting for a pass percentage of 19.52%. Additionally, 273 candidates successfully passed both groups, with a pass percentage of 10.53%. Consequently, a total of 1,175 candidates have completed the Final Course of the Institute following the declaration of these results.
