The National Testing Agency(NTA) will conduct the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) examination from December 26 to December 28, 2023.
CSIR NET December 2023 Registration: The National Testing Agency(NTA) will conduct the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) examination from December 26 to December 28, 2023. The Joint CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.
Taking to X(formally Twitter), Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a division of CSIR wrote, “The upcoming #CSIR-UGC-NET Examination is scheduled on 26th, 27th and 28th of December, 2023. The dates for online application process shall be released shortly by NTA.”

NTA JOINT CSIR- UGC NET Registration Schedule – Check Exam Date And Time
At present, the Joint CSIR UGC NET registration process has not started. Once released, candidates can fill up the application form by visiting the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Mode of Examinations
- The Examinations will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Pattern of Question Papers
- The Test will consist of three parts. All the parts will consist of objective type, multiplechoice questions. There will be no break between papers.
Subjects of the Test
- The Test will be held in the subjects mentioned below:

Candidates have to apply “Online” only for JOINT CSIR- UGC NET December- 2023 by accessing the website: https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/. (The Application other than online mode would not be accepted in any case). If a candidate submits more than one Application Form for the same course, all his/her Application Forms shall summarily be rejected.
