Step 5: Proceed to make the payment for the application fee using debit/credit card or net banking options.
Step 6: Upload scanned versions of your recent photograph and signature as per the provided guidelines.
Step 7: Once done, download the confirmation page and ensure to print it out for future reference purposes.

CTET 2024 Exam Schedule
The CBSE is set to hold the 18th edition of the CTET on Sunday, January 21. This examination will take place across 135 cities nationwide and will be conducted in twenty different languages.
CTET Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
In the CTET, all questions come in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format, offering four options, and you’ll select the most fitting answer. Each correct response earns 1 mark, and there’s no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam comprises two papers:
(i) Paper I is for those aiming to teach classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II is for those aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII.

Each paper contains 150 questions, totaling 150 marks. Candidates aspiring to teach both levels need to take both Paper I and Paper II. According to the NCTE notification, scoring 60% or more in the TET exam is considered a passing grade. The CTET certificate remains valid for a lifetime across all categories, with no limitations on attempts. Even after passing, individuals can retake the exam to enhance their scores.
