The four-colour capsule consists of four new hues: Chocolate, Atomic Red, Evergreen and Sweet Peach — all of which have been carefully curated by the Frank Green Creative Director and artistic mastermind, Paul Troon.

Paul has taken inspiration from trending colours from recent runway shows including those form famous designers Jil Sander, Bottega and Jacquemus.

The colours have then been adapted them into reusable water bottles that are stylish and sustainable at the same time.

“Colour has always been part of Frank Green’s DNA, it’s an integral part of who we are,” Paul told Best Picks.

“Because we find that when people find a colour that ‘feels,’ like them and their style, they are more likely to use it — over and over again.”

Paul explained that the new collection of water bottles are designed to be purchased on their own for a monochromatic or in parts “for colour blocking fun”.

“These bold, primary colours are not only on-trend but can be paired back with our core colours allowing for consumers to mix and match their own unique colour combinations,” he said.

Key features of the multi-award-winning designed water bottles include triple wall vacuum insulation which keeps water cold for hours and hours.

The bottles also feature easy-to-drink-from straws, making hydration at all points a breeze.

Leading New Zealand radio station The Edge recently tested five popular drink bottles.

The radio station tested the water bottles “ability to not only withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius but to stay cool with 15 ice blocks added to each bottle at the start of the test”.

Household name brands including Frank Green, Stanley, Sistema, Hydro Flask and the Kmart bottle were all included in the experiment.

The experiment — which was filmed live and has now gone viral — started with all the bottles being placed and set alight in a kiln for up to five minutes.

Frank Green’s iconic 34oz Ceramic Reusable Bottle was the clear winner, with only two ice cubes melting,” the station said.

Frank Green Founder, Benjamin Young said it “was no surprise that the ‘fan-favourite water bottle’ was ahead of the pack”.

“To be honest, we weren’t totally surprised that our 34oz Frank Green reusable bottle outperformed the others,” he said.

“It’s all thanks to tens of thousands of hours we spend each year on research and development to ensure we only deliver quality products our customers want and need,” the Frank Green Founder explained.

“The Frank Green ceramic lining is a game changer and provides real benefits to our customers.”

In fact, we use unique production processes that set the standard for quality and performance in the industry,” explained Benjamin.

Frank Green was founded in 2014 by CEO, Benjamin Young, with “an honest approach to sustainability — to stop single-use plastic by reimagining reusable cups and bottles”.
