Expanding its extensive list of collaborations, the Barcelona-based fashion label Desigual has teamed up with Israeli designer Hed Mayner to introduce an inclusive, genderless capsule collection. The collection comprises ready-to-wear pieces along with a canvas bag and a pair of Mary Jane shoes.

This exclusive limited-edition capsule debuted on November 13 at the brand’s store in Tokyo’s Ginza district. Furthermore, since November 14, it has also been available in Europe at their boutiques on Rue Bonaparte and Rue des Rosiers in Paris, in stores in Florence and Berlin, and at their Spanish flagships on Preciados in Madrid and Plaça Catalunya in Barcelona. The collection is also offered on the brand’s online store.

With prices ranging from 99.95 euros for an oversized red T-shirt to 349 euros for a short oversized wool coat, this timeless capsule also features wide-leg pants, a jumpsuit, shirts, jackets, and jeans. All pieces in the collection are oversized, with many showcasing a unique red and blue stripe pattern personally created by the designer.

In addition to the partnership with Mayner, the Catalan company has recently collaborated with notable names such as Spanish designer María Escoté, releasing a vibrant capsule earlier this month, Argentine singer Nathy Peluso for a limited-edition collection, and French designer Alphonse Maitrepierre on several occasions.

The underlying strategy behind these alliances is to enhance the brand’s positioning by associating it with cutting-edge design and creativity while appealing to a younger target audience than usual.
