Former president Donald Trump was at his last rally in Pennsylvania before the Republican National Convention opens on Monday when apparent gunshots were heard.
Trump was discussing USA border security and immigration policies when shots rang out within the rally.
In footage of the rally, Trump can be heard saying: “If you really want to see something this sad, take a look at what happened…”, before he is cut off mid-sentence by consecutive loud bangs.

He can be seen reaching for his right ear before ducking for cover behind the stand.
The microphones at the podium caught security telling trump to “get down, get down” before he is helped back up by security.
Trump can be heard saying “let me get my shoes”, before he was seen being escorted to a car by security personnel with what appeared to be blood on his face.
“I got you sir,” one security personnel can be heard saying, before he is told they need to move out.
Trump is then heard saying “wait, wait” before pumping his fist in the air to applause from the crowd.
The presumptive Republican nominee posted on his social media account, Truth Social, thanking the Secret Service and Law Enforcement.
“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured,” he continued.
“It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country.”
Trump said he “immediately knew that something was wrong” when he heard a “whizzing sound” and shots before he felt the bullet “ripping the skin” of his ear.
“I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear,” he said.
“Much bleeding took place, so I realised then what was happening.”
