NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) will release its third merit list for postgraduate admissions today, September 11, 2023. Candidates can check the list on the CSAS dashboard on admission.uod.ac.in.
After the third merit list is released, candidates have to accept their seats between September 11 (from 5:00 PM) and September 13 (4:59 PM). Colleges and departments will then verify these online admission applications and approve them by September 14 (4:59 PM).
The admission fee for the third round has to be paid online by September 15. If seats remain vacant after the third round, DU may announce further admission rounds.
The third merit list was originally scheduled to be released on September 4, but it was later postponed to September 11. The reason for the postponement is not yet known.
DU recently conducted the mid-entry process from September 7 to 9. Under this process, candidates who had not been allotted seats in the first two rounds of admissions could apply for vacant seats.
After the third merit list is released, candidates who have been allotted seats will have to accept them within the stipulated time period. If they fail to do so, their seats will be forfeited and offered to other candidates on the waiting list.
The admission process for DU’s postgraduate courses is conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUET is a national-level entrance exam that is held for admission to all central universities in India.
