Age and eligibility
As per CIL Recruitment 2024 notice, the maximum age limit of 30 years. Additionally, for ECIL Recruitment 2024, candidates must possess an ITI (2 years) qualification in the trades of Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, or Fitter. A one-year Apprenticeship is also mandatory, coupled with a minimum one-year post-qualification experience (after ITI + Apprenticeship) in the contract manufacturing of electronic equipment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). These eligibility criteria aim to ensure that candidates bring the necessary skills and experience to contribute effectively to the respective roles.

Method of selection
Candidates for ECIL Recruitment 2024 will undergo a methodical selection process. The initial step involves provisional shortlisting based on the details provided in the online application form. This shortlisting will be conducted trade-wise and category-wise, with the order of merit determined by both the marks obtained in ITI and relevant experience. The shortlisting ratio will be 1:4, indicating that one candidate will be selected for every four applicants. In the case of a tie, preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in ITI. Further tie-breaking will consider the candidate’s earlier date of birth.
Minimum required weightage, marks-
Qualification holds a significant weight, constituting 60% of the aggregate percentage in ITI.
Relevant experience carries 40 marks, with 20 marks allocated for the initial ‘one year + apprentice experience’ and 5 marks each for additional 3 months, up to a maximum of 40 marks, including the initial one.
Document verification:
Following the preliminary shortlisting, candidates who make the cut will receive Provisional Offer Letters through email correspondence. Subsequently, these shortlisted candidates will be summoned for Document Verification at Hyderabad. It’s essential to note that there will be no separate communication regarding non-selection at any stage of the selection process.
