Money makes money – and these 10 people have made a lot of it over the years. And by a lot, we mean a LOT!
The Forbes Real Time Billionaires is a daily ranking of the richest people in the world.
France’s founder, chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Bernard Arnault, leads the way ahead of South Africa-born 52-year-old Elon Musk.
They are followed by American Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who rounds out the top three.
The rest of the top 10, in order, are Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, Mukesh Ambani and Larry Page.
Musk was once the clear leader in the battle for the honour of world’s richest person, but he’s now looking over his shoulder as Bezos and Zuckerberg in particular add to their considerable fortunes.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk has already slipped to third place having lost $40.4 billion in 2024 alone.
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg is the biggest mover in the Top 10 having added $53.5 billion over a similar time period.
