Elvis: A Musical Revolution audition callout for young Elvis Presley at Crown Theatre Perth season

Four performers have been sharing the principal role of Young Elvis in Melbourne’s season of Elvis: A Musical Revolution and while these triple-threat talents might be the smallest on stage, they have been stealing the most hearts with audiences.

Each of the four 10-11 year old Melburnians — Daniel Lim, Orlando Corelli-Tapia, Luca Dahan and Sebastian Dovey Cribbes — has been burning up the stage in their own way in the production exploring the pivotal moments in Elvis’ life from his childhood in Tupelo, Mississippi through to his triumphant 1968 Comeback Special.

The show features mainstage and television star Rob Mallet as Elvis, alongside Ian Stenlake as Colonel Parker, Annie Chiswell as Priscilla Presley, Kirby Burgess as Ann-Margaret and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts graduates Noni McCallum and Ben Hall as Gladys Presley and Sam Phillips.

Now it is Perth’s turn with the David Venn Enterprises musical heading to Crown Theatre Perth from May 11 and the casting call is out to audition Perth’s own Young Elvis performers.

“It’s a testament to our cast and creative team, as well as the enduring legacy of The King.”

The production is seeking young male identifying Perth-based performers, with strong acting and singing skills who can play Young Elvis Presley in the Perth season, with online submissions due by 5pm, Monday, February 12 for in person auditions to be held in Perth on Sunday, February 18.
