Esprit is popping-up once again, but this time in Chicago at 900 North Michigan Shops, on Level 3 of the famed shopping mecca.
The pop-up promises to offer a new generation of shoppers the chance to immerse themselves in the brand’s spirit and designs.
Esprit’s Chicago pop-up is one of only three in the United States. The other two American locations are in New York and Los Angeles, making 900 North Michigan Shops the exclusive destination in the Midwest to experience Esprit.
“Our team is very intentional when curating new shops within 900,” said Alicia Skruba, marketing and business development for 900 North Michigan Shops.
“With staple luxury fashion houses and local boutiques at the nexus of Gold Coast and Michigan Avenue, the Esprit store gives us a nostalgic spin. We’ll be able to give tourists and locals a brand experience that defined many shoppers’ youth. We are thrilled to have this iconic 1908s brand reach the next generations via 900 Shops.”
The Chicago pop-up is part of Esprit’s ambitious expansion plan across North America throughout this year and into 2024. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed corporation currently operates around 160 retail stores worldwide, with an additional 450 franchise partner stores.
Esprit is gearing up for its official global relaunch in fall 2023, with a strong focus on modernizing the brand’s heritage and values to resonate with today’s consumers.
“Opening the Chicago pop-up is the next step in Esprit’s reintroduction to the North American market; allowing shoppers to fully immerse themselves into the world of Esprit past and present,” said William Pak, CEO of Esprit.
“This experiential retail space on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, one of the most iconic and exhilarating neighborhoods in the world, will allow customers to experience Esprit’s brand pillars – playful, modern, cool – in a dynamic environment that will evolve in theme each month.”
