PLAYERS may come and go from Glasgow as Celtic develop players and sell them years later for a profit.
But many who have played for the club never stray too far from wearing the Hoops kit even after leaving the club.
Ex-players like Emilio Izaguirre have been spotted in the club’s colours across the world as they continue showing their support for Celtic.
And Erik Sviatchenko is no different as he was seen wearing a retro Celtic kit from the 2001/2003 seasons.
The Danish centre back was pictured in America wearing the iconic strip as he and his family made their way to his club’s stadium.
He currently plies his trade in the MLS for Houston Dynamo after leaving Europe at the beginning of this year.

And Sviatchenko has paid tribute to Hoops icon Henrik Larsson as he showed off the famous number seven on his back.
He was spotted making his way across a car park close to his new club’s home ground when he was wearing the top.
His wife also wore a green coat as they walked with their two children to watch Sviatchenko’s game.
The stopper has also gave himself a new look from his Hoops days as his hair has been cut short.
The defender was somewhat a fans’ favourite during is time in Glasgow as Ronny Deila signed him from Midtjylland for £1.5million.
He made over 60 appearances for the club and scored two goals, one of them coming against Rangers in cup competition.
But after damage to his knee ligament a year into his Celtic career, he was ruled out for three months and never returned to be a mainstay in the squad.
He transferred back to his homeland with Midtjylland where he spent five seasons before moving across the Atlantic.
He almost made a dramatic return to Celtic back in 2021 but the move didn’t come to fruition.
