RYAN KENT’s Istanbul exile could come to an end next month.
The Fenerbahce winger has reportedly submitted a transfer request just six months after his move to Turkey.
And, according to a report in Sabah quoted by Yenicag, permission has been granted which would allow the former Rangers winger to return to Britain.
Kent has only started one domestic game since his switch – back in August – and played just ONE MINUTE in the SuperLig since the start of November.
He’s mostly been used in the Europa Conference League for the Yellow Canaries – but coach Ismail Kartal IS said to be open to his departure, which could come on loan.
Club officials have been in the UK on transfer business this week.

Kent could make the same trip to the UK on a permanent basis.
And rather than the infamous ‘Welcome to Hell’ placards that have greeted sides to the cauldron of football in the Turkish capital – it could be a case of ‘Welcome to HULL’ for Kent.
The Championship side have been credited with interest in the 27-year-old in the past – as have Burnley and Leeds.
But they now lead the way and the snake-loving star could soon become a Tiger with Liam Rosenior‘s side.
They lie sixth in the English second tier after a 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers on December 29.
Kent has even been linked with a sensational return to Rangers by fans desperate to see Philippe Clement add to his squad.
But Fenerbahce officials have been in the UK aiming to recruit defensive cover for the second half of the season.
Spurs’ stopper Eric Dier is reportedly in the Turkish side’s sights with the England international’s contract expiring in the summer.
They signed Kent on a similar deal when his four-year stint at Ibrox ended last season.
The winger has been on the fringes at Fener but saw the chance of silverware snatched away at the last minute this week.
The Turkish Super Cup final against Galatasaray was CANCELLED with both teams refusing to play in Saudi Arabia.
Reports in Turkey suggest that neither team arrived at the stadium in Riyadh ahead of the derby clash.
It’s said that both teams refused to take the field after the Turkish national anthem was banned from playing prior to kick-off.

It’s also understood the two clubs wanted to walk out with t-shirts displaying the face of the creator of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, but the opportunity was denied along with banner requests too.
