According to the survey, 57.1% secured placements through the institute’s program, while 12.2% pursued higher degrees.Additionally, 10.3% found off-campus jobs, and 8.3% showed interest in public service. Among them, 4.3% remain undecided about their careers, while 1.6% aim to start their own ventures.
The data also revealed that 58.8% of females and 56.7% of males secured placements through IIT Bombay. Furthermore, 8.1% of women and 5.6% of men are still job hunting, as per the survey results. These statistics offer a contrasting narrative, showcasing diverse career paths pursued by IIT Bombay graduates amidst previous reports of widespread job uncertainty.
