Farfetch links with major and local names on Modest Fashion Capsule Collection

Luxury fashion e-tail giant Farfetch has unveiled its modest fashion offer and campaign, showcasing capsule collections from over 30 regional and international designers that are available exclusively on the site. 

Covering women’s, men’s and kidswear, they launch on 31 January and are available until April.

The e-tailer said the campaign “redefines modest dressing, blending timeless favourites with runway trends to curate a collection that harmonises sophistication with practicality”. 

We’re told the participating designers “infuse their distinct viewpoints, seamlessly blending heritage with contemporary flair”.

It’s an undeniably ambitious launch. Within the RTW offer, there are tailored suits, kaftans, modest evening dresses and more and the company is going beyond ready-to-wear garments as the exclusive collections include fine jewellery, footwear, and homewares too.

The supporting campaign was shot by Phil Engelhardt, and styled by Hanna Kelifa,and “showcases a celebration of modesty and its many different interpretations”.

The participating designers include Balenciaga, Bambah, Baruni, Bazza Alzouman, Brunello Cucinelli, Chopard, De Beers, Dina Melwani, Gaby Charbachy, Golden Goose, Jean-Louis Sabaji, Jimmy Choo, Kamushki, La Stupenderia, Le Silla, Les Ottomans, Malone Souliers, Missoni, Moustache, Nanushka, Polspotten, Rachel Gilbert, Rayane Bacha, Rene Caovilla, Sachin & Babi, Saiid Kobeisy, Shatha Essa & Kids, There Was One Kids, Tutu Du Monde, Tulleen, and Yoko London.
