Farmer Wants a Wife’s Jess Cova tells of ‘new reality’ as she gives major life update

Farmer Wants a Wife favourite Jess Cova, who fell in love with Farmer Will in the 2022 season, has answered some of her fans’ most pressing questions.

And she didn’t hold back, giving honest answers via an Instagram Q&A on everything from farm life and missing her family to whether an engagement announcement was likely any time soon.

Asked how life on the farm was going, Jess said she was enjoying it.

“It’s going very well,” she wrote, sharing a photo of the sheep shed.

“I love when I can be Will’s little sidekick on the farm.”

One fan asked how difficult it had been to move interstate (from Queensland to Victoria) to be with Will.

“It can be tough at times, but this is our new reality,” she said.

“We do the best with what we can and I try to travel back to Queensland regularly.”

Asked how she and Will were going, Jess shared a picture of them kissing.

“We are very good,” she wrote.

“We argue, we fix things, we grow, we disagree, we laugh, we play, and most of all we love each other.”

She said her best memory from Farmer Wants a Wife was “obviously” falling in love with Will.

“But other than that, I was always having fun and laughing,” she added.

Asked if fans could expect an engagement any time soon, Jess had a cheeky answer.

She posted a picture of her engagement ring-free hand, tagged Will in, and wrote: “farmerwill_au????”

Jess also confirmed that they had now been together “1 year and 7 months going on 5 years haha.”

Describing herself as “very lucky”, she said Will was “hands down the most respectful, loyal and caring person I have ever met.”

Asked what advice she would give for anyone wanting to go on Farmer Wants a Wife as a contestant, she had three simple words.

“Just be yourself,” she wrote.

“For me personally the whole experience couldn’t have gone any better.

“But then it could have gone the other way and I’m not sure how I would have handled that.

“Just be yourself and if it’s meant to be it will be.”

Finally, Jess was asked who her favourite people on the 2023 season were.

She tagged Clare Hoskings and Farmer Brad – who are expecting a child together – and then added a third name into the mix.

“Sophie Holcombe,” she wrote, referring to the contestant who won the heart of Brenton, only to announce months later that they had split.

“So any good single guys out there? Head her way!”
