Fifya Greek Tzatziki recalled over allergen fears

Check your fridge — a tzatziki dip sold at supermarkets across Australia has been recalled as it could cause a health risk to some consumers.

Quality Food World is recalling the Fifya Greek Tzatziki due to non-compliant labelling.

The product states it is dairy-free on the lid, however, milk is included in the ingredients list and the product.

“Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the recall notice warns.

The tzatziki was sold at independent retailers including IGA in NSW, QLD, TAS, SA, WA, as well as Coles Local and independent retailers including IGA in VIC.

Affected products have best-before dates of April 30, 2024 and May 30, 2024.

Consumers who purchased the product and have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume it.

Instead, return the dip to the place of purchase for a full refund.
