Florida is the most luxury-obsessed U.S. state: CoolFrames

Florida is the most luxury-obsessed state across the United States, according to a new study by CoolFrames 

According to the study, which analyzed luxury brands’ Google search volumes in 2023, Florida is the most luxury brand-obsessed state, with 1,300 luxury brand searches per 1,000 people. 

By brand, among almost 3,000,000 monthly searches, the most in-demand are Louis Vuitton bags (55,000 searches) and Gucci shoes (20,000 searches). On the other hand, Floridians are the least obsessed with Valentino, searching for the brand’s items just over 55,000 times.

Florida is followed by Texas, with 1,136 high-end brand searches per 1,000 people. The state has an average of 3.5 million searches per month, and around 1 million of those searches are related to Louis Vuitton brand items and over 560,000 searches for Gucci. Most in demand is once again the brand’s purse collection, which has 60,000 searches.

Rounding-out the top 3 is New York with 157 searches per 1,000 people and  2,778,960 luxury brand searches per month. Most in demand again is Louis Vuitton (75,000 searches) and Gucci (43,000 searches) bags.

Next is California with 143 searches per 1000 people. Californians, with more than 5,500,000 searches monthly, are mostly obsessed with Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, and Rolex.

Completing the top five is New Jersey with 134 searches per 1,000 people and almost 1,300,000 searches on average per month. Louis Vuitton (35,000 searches) and Gucci (20,000 searches) bags are leading the search, while Valentino still is the least-searched luxury brand, being searched only 30,000 times.

Other states that made up the top 10 include Illinois, Vermont, North Dakota, Wyoming and Louisiana.
