Former Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids is getting to learn from some of the best coaches in the world.
Davids, currently an assistant coach to Josef Zinnbauer at Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, was at English Premier League side Liverpool as part of his coaching studies.
The Maritzburg United legend is currently completing his UEFA Pro Licence, and got the opportunity to learn from Jurgen Klopp’s assistant coach Pep Lijnders.

Ex Orlando Pirates coach spotted at Liverpool training ground
“Former Maritzburg United and Orlando Pirates coach Fadlu Davids, who is now at Raja Club Athletic in Morocco, spent some time at Premier League giants Liverpool recently as he continues his UEFA Pro Licence.” an IdiskiTimes report read.
“While being an assistant at Raja, Davids is currently working on completing his UEFA Pro Licence, and he and others completing the course, including former Manchester City player Joey Barton, spent time at Liverpool’s training ground and with Reds’ staff.”

“The league is the most important competition, it goes without saying,” Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by TimesLive.
“Thirty games, 15 away and home against everyone in every circumstance, hot and raining. So, it’s the most important competition and we really want to find our rhythm there.
“Now we have played our fourth competition in two months and a half. We are trying to keep the level in all competitions we play. It is difficult mentally to face these kinds of competitions in a very short space of time.”
