THE Fortnite servers have just gone down as the Battle Royale prepares for the v30.30.

Epic Games has returned after its summer break with its first major update to Fortnite in a number of weeks.

While the servers are down there are some big changes being made to all Fortnite modes.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s downtime and when the servers will make their comeback.

What is coming in the v30.30 Fortnite update?

There are a number of new features that people have been excited to try out.

Map creator tools for Fall Guys are being added to Fortnite’s Creative Mode, meaning that anyone will be able to make their own Fall Guys levels.

Fortnite has also confirmed that Tesla’s Cybertruck will join the battle royale, but it’s still unclear whether they will appear on the map or be a vehicle skin for Rocket Racing.

Rocket Racing will receive a number of new tracks and is one of the main focuses of the update.

Finally, the last big change is the addition of Deadpool and Wolverine skins to celebrate the upcoming film.

When will Fortnite servers come back online?

Servers went down at 1am PT/ 4am ET/ 9am UK time, and usually remain down for a number of hours.

We expect servers to come back online around 4am PT/ 7am ET/ 12pm UK time, but it could be sooner or later than this depending on how smoothly the update goes.
