Notifying the change in social media platform ‘X’, the IISc informed that owing to the law and order situation in the city, three test centres in Haldwani have now been cancelled.
Candidates who have been allotted the following test centres will receive fresh notification intimating them of new test centres for the upcoming GATE 2024 exam.
The cancelled test centres are-
- Centre Code: 8406; ION Digital Zone iDZ Teenpani
- Centre Code: 8407; ION DIGITAL ZONE IDZ CHARAYAL
- Centre Code: 8408; Swami Vivekanand College of Management and Technology
The IISC further notified that these candidates will be allotted new centres in Bareilly, details for which will be provided to them shortly. The official tweet is as follows-
The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled to take place over the weekends from February 3 to February 11, 2024. The exams will occur in two sessions: a forenoon session and an afternoon session. The forenoon session exams are slated to run from 9:30AM to 12:30PM, while the afternoon session exams will be conducted between 2:30PM and 5:30PM.
According to reports, following concerns raised by students on social media platform X, IISc Bangalore responded by announcing the scheduling details for GATE 2024. The exams are set to take place over the weekends from February 3rd to February 11th, 2024. GATE 2024 officials assured candidates that they are actively collaborating with authorities regarding the situation in Haldwani and will provide further instructions as needed through their official X account.
