Georgia Lyall: GoFundMe page set up for the family of South Guildford mum and murder victim

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family of Perth mum and murder victim Georgia Lyall.

Ms Lyall, 32, was found shot dead inside her South Guildford home on Thursday shortly before the body of her ex-partner Luke Noormets was discovered in a burnt-out unit in Innaloo.

Mr Noormets was found dead inside his Escot Road home at about 11.30am on Thursday, less than an hour after emergency services were called to the Sabina Road home of his former partner at about 10.40am.

Police are treating the incident as a murder-suicide.

On Friday, a GoFundMe page was created for Ms Lyall’s heartbroken family members.

The page — set up by family friend Amber Koltai — raised a staggering $7000 within an hour of it going live.

On the page, Ms Koltai refers to the mother of one as a beautiful, bright and bubbly soul.

“Fiercely loyal, independent, funny and caring, there wasn’t a day that went by where Georgia didn’t make a positive impact on someone’s life,” Ms Koltai states on the page.

“Georgia leaves behind her beautiful, vivacious and loving five-year-old son Knox who is now in the care of Georgia’s wonderful mother Robyn. Georgia was an extremely dedicated mum who was doing an amazing job raising Knox on her own.

“Any money that you can spare will be put towards the funeral for Georgia and to help support Robyn and Knox during this incredibly stressful and sad time.”
