GloRilla played coy and laughed when Shannon Sharpe asked her about seemingly pursuing Bucks guard Damian Lillard during the NBA All-Star weekend in February.
During the latest installment of his “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Sharpe brought up a message the rapper shared on X, “I want him,” which included a photo of her and Lillard at the festivities in Indianapolis.
“You shot with the most Steph Curry shot, did it go in?” Sharpe said.
GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, replied: “The half court shot? At the end of the day, the day gon’ end.”
Sharpe left the subject alone.
“OK I’ma leave it at that, because he [Lillard] said no comment [and] you said, ‘hey at the end of the day, it’s the end of the day,’” Sharpe said.
That’s when GloRilla repeated herself.
“At the end of the day, the day gon’ end,” she said, to which Sharpe replied: “And it went in.”
The host and rapper then both started laughing.
In her post, GloRilla inquired if Lillard was taken, and wrote: “Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf.”
The eight-time NBA All-Star filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La, his college sweetheart, on Oct. 2, 2023, less than a week after he was traded from the Trail Blazers to the Bucks after 11 seasons in Portland.
The former college sweethearts, who wed in 2021, share three children: son Damian Jr., 5, and 3-year-old twins, daughter Kali and son Kalii.
Lillard declined to comment on GloRilla’s message when asked about it last month.
“Shout out to GloRilla, man,” Lillard told TMZ while out in Beverly Hills on March 7.
“No comment,” he said when asked if the had spoken afterwards.
GloRilla told Sharpe that she has six brothers and comes from a family of sports fanatics.
The rapper attended the Super Bowl in February, when the Chiefs beat he 49ers in an overtime thriller in Las Vegas.
GloRilla also received the VIP treatment from the Pittsburgh Steelers during a private meeting with head coach Mike Tomlin at the team facility last October.
After she gushed over the coach, GloRilla was gifted a custom Steelers jersey that was signed, as seen in photos the team shared on social media, with the caption: “Glo day in the Burgh!”
GloRilla also made headlines in December when Shaq proposed to her in the comments of an IG Live between her and comedian, Druski.
