THE wait is almost over, and we’ll soon get our first official look at the long-awaited GTA sequel.
GTA 6’s first trailer will be released tomorrow (December 5), and we’ll grab our first look at the world and gameplay.

At the last minute before the official trailer is due to lunch, an unlikely source leaked footage from GTA 6 on TikTok.
The 12-second video has since been removed from TikTok and the user’s account has been deleted.
However, many other users have reposted the video with reactions to the short clip.
It shows a blurry clip of a monitor featuring the world of GTA 6 as filmed through a smartphone.
The camera spins around to give a 360-degree view of the setting, which is your standard American city.
However what is more shocking about this footage is the source that it came from.
The TikTok user posted a picture of a kid that is supposedly them with a senior Rockstar developer.
Some websites have claimed that it is the developer’s son but we haven’t been able to verify this.
The TikTok user claims that they are not their son and is more likely to be a family friend.
On their motivations for leaking the footage, they claim to have done it as when the trailer launches it will be worthless.
Since the leak, the developer has locked down their social media accounts, and has seemingly even deleted their LinkedIn page.
The leaked footage doesn’t show anything revolutionary, and while GTA fans are eager to see more of GTA 6, it’s probably not worth watching.
It won’t be long before the trailer comes out, and we’ll get to see a far more substantial chunk of GTA 6.
We expect to see not only the setting, but gameplay footage and be introduced to our new protagonists.
There may even be a release date, which we believe will be in the financial year 2025, which spans April 2024 to March 2025.
This is due to reporting by publisher Take-Two, which claims one of their biggest ever games will be released in this time frame.
