Details of vacant seats will be announced on August 10, and choice filling will be open until August 13. Seat allotment will take place on August 16, and students must confirm their admissions between August 16-18.
In the second round, the committee allocated seats to 19,998 students. The deadline to confirm admission by paying token fees is August 6, and students must report to their colleges by August 10.
Out of 11,285 seats in government and grant-in-aid colleges, 8,458 have been allocated, while in private colleges, 11,499 out of the total 42,283 seats have been filled.
Fresh registration for students who cleared Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) began on August 2 for grant-in-aid, government, and private colleges. The merit list for grant-in-aid and government colleges will be released on August 14.
Despite the third round, approximately 34,251 seats are likely to remain vacant out of the 53,315 degree engineering seats available this year.
