AN INFERNO has torn through a block of London flats this evening as thick black smoke continues to bellow from the building.
The blaze is understood to have broken out on Dalston Lane in Hackney at around 5.30pm this evening.

Emergency services are yet to bring the flames under control, as horrified onlookers watch the chaotic scene.
Terrified residents have been evacuated from their properties as heavy smoke clouds pump into the air and the fire continues to burn.
At present 15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters are battling the flames.
Locals in the area have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson confirmed: “Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters have been called to a building fire on Dalston Lane in #Hackney.
“Please keep windows and doors shut due to smoke and avoid the area whilst we work to extinguish the fire.
“More information soon.”
