“It is hereby intimated that the Govt. has decided that all the Govt. Private schools to declare 21st October 2023 as a non-working day on account of written examination on CET Group D posts and staff not deputed for exam duty shall not be allowed to enter the premises keeping in view the sensitivity of exam,” reads the official notice.
The notice further allows the schools to arrange classes on any other gazetted holiday if required.
Candidates who are going to appear in the HSSC Group D 2023 exam may note that the Commission has already issued the admit cards for the exam. To download the admit card, candidates will have to enter the registration number and other details on the official portal.
The Group D exam will be conducted in two shifts: Shift I (10:00 AM to 11:45 AM) and Shift II (3:00 PM to 4:45 PM). The exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will comprise of 100 questions carrying one mark each. The total duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 45 minutes. Also, there will not be any negative markings for incorrect answers.
The syllabus of the Group D exam includes General Awareness, General Science, Reasoning, Quantitive Ability, English Language, Hindi Language, and General Knowledge of Haryana.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission at hssc.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Group D Admit Card 2023 link
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page, enter your login credentials, including your Registration number and Date of Birth
Step 4: Once all the details are provided, your HSSC Group D Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on the screen
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the hall ticket for future reference
