Aiming for $1 billion in annual global sales, fast-growing US casual footwear brand HeyDude debuts in the UK market on 20 March as part of a wider European expansion plan.
The Crocs-owned brand, which currently claims sales of $950 million and is sold in more than 85 countries, launches through 191 UK retail doors with partners including Schuh, Kurt Geiger, and Paul Byron in Ireland, alongside introducing a country specific website.
Producing “the most insanely comfortable and lightweight shoes” for men, women, and children, the brand’s star styles include the Wally and the Wendy, “differentiated by their fitted elastic laces, removable foam insole and extremely lightweight outsole, making them incredibly versatile, easy on/off shoes – perfect for a variety of wearing occasions,” we’re told. Price points start at £59.99.
Kelly Cortina, Senior Vice-President and Global Chief Product and Merchandising Officer at HeyDude, said: “We know from internal data, once consumers try a pair, they will purchase an average four pairs for themselves. We are confident our brand will resonate with the UK audience, and that they will love our product’s ease and timeless style.”
