That saw the car swing round in a circle before slamming into the tyre wall.

And the force of the impact saw the car flip upside down after the crash.

Luckily Mancinelli was able to emerge from his hypercar unscathed.

The crash ended any hope Le Mans had of achieving a podium victory at the 24 hour race.

Concerned fans took to X to wish Mancinelli well.

One fan wrote: “Glad the driver is ok ✅ #LEMANS24”

Another said: “Hell of a surprise to the crew right behind the tire wall/fence! 😬”

A third said: “Happy that the driver is o.k.”
