MONTASSIB (3.15 York, nap)
He was impressive when winning a big handicap here in October and looked to have improved further when taking Listed honours at Doncaster on comeback. He won by just a neck but there was plenty left under Cieren Fallon who has built up a good partnership with this six-year-old. Today’s trip suits and he could have more to offer.
ELMONJED (4.15 York, nb)
He goes handicapping from what looks a fair mark despite winning both his two-year-old runs. He didn’t have to hit top gear when scoring at Lingfield and Haydock and should show a lot more this season now he goes up in distance for William Haggas.
MBAPPE (6.40 Bath, treble)
He started life at David Loughnane’s with a good win and has every chance of following up in a race that doesn’t look any stronger.
