ADAAY IN DEVON (2.40 Sandown, nap)
He has been in blistering form this season with a Listed win at Bath before a cracking Group 3 second at Ascot last month. She went well again at Newbury last time over six furlongs but this distance is more up her street. Rod Millman’s flyer goes on any ground and Silvestre De Sousa can steer her home.
DUAL IDENTITY (2.05 Sandown, nb)
He can follow up his excellent course and distance win. That was the third time he’s struck at this track and a 4lb rise won’t stop him going in again.
WOVEN (2.25 York, treble)
He likes to weave his way through and can more than match his unlucky fourth on the Knavesmire last time out.

DUAL IDENTITY has three wins and a second from his five runs at Sandown and he was better than ever when scoring here last month.
He’s versatile trip-wise and has scored on fast and slow ground so it won’t matter what the weather does.
A 4lb rise in the weights shouldn’t be enough to put the brakes on.
Dancing Magic ran a belter when second at Chester last time over a similar trip.
He is still a maiden after 13 runs but can run another big race from the front with Oisin Murphy taking over.
Two Tempting has been in fine form with three wins from his past four outings.
He was stretched by the extended mile at Epsom last time but held on and will be a major player again despite a 5lb rise.
Mascapone needed the run after 18 months off when fifth at Newcastle last time.
He finished strongly over seven furlongs there so this trip should be right up his street.
Great Blasket made it four wins from five runs when digging deep to score at Nottingham on Thursday and can’t be ruled out.

ADAAY IN DEVON looks hard to beat after an excellent third in a hotter race than this at Newbury last time.
She is proven in this grade and saves her best for this minimum trip. Any ground suits and Silvestre De Sousa is a good judge of pace on sprinters.
Nighteyes deserves this crack at better company after good handicap wins at Haydock and Chester.
She has been best over six furlongs so far but has lots of pace and trainer David O’Meara is in good form.
Flora Of Bermuda badly missed the kick in the Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock last time having earlier run well a couple of times in strong company.
She relishes this trip and is another who won’t mind what the ground does.
No Half Measures has won three of her four runs. This is much tougher but there’s more to come from Richard Hughes’ flyer.
YORK

ARRANGE could be the answer to this tricky puzzle.
She was fourth in a big field over course and distance last time and has had a little nudge down the weights which should help.
This will take some getting in tacky ground and her staying power is an asset.
Piecederesistance finished just ahead of the tip on the Knavesmire and he’s a contender again.
It’s early days for Star Jasmine but she showed promise when beaten in a photo on handicap debut last time and should have more to offer.
Southern Voyage dug deep to score at Donny 15 days ago and a 3lb rise gives him every chance of following up.
2.25
WOVEN likes to pick his way through the field but would have every chance if his luck’s in.
He ran a good race here last time when finishing like a train over six furlongs.
This longer trip will give him more time to get his head in front.
New Image had plenty in the tank when winning at Musselburgh 14 days ago.
The handicapper has been fair with a 4lb rise and this looks another good chance.
Aalto looks to be working his way up to a win with two good runs over a mile.
Dropping in trip here is an unknown but he should be competitive again.
Yanifer came right back to his best when beaten in a photo at Chester last time. He’s only 4lb higher than his last winning mark and likes some cut in the ground.
Our Havana goes up in class after a game win at Newmarket and has solid place claims.
3.00
REAL DREAM finished off strongly when second over 1m4f at Newmarket on comeback last time and this longer trip is right up his street.
Sir Michael Stoute is in good form and all ground comes the same to this five-year-old.
Relentless Voyager got the job done easily at Epsom on Derby day and looks dangerous stepping out of handicap company.
Andrew Balding is flying and he looks the main danger.
Chesspiece has taken a little time to get going this season and is better than we saw at Sandown last time.
He’s proven in this grade and could bounce back.
Klondike has Ryan Moore in the saddle for William Haggas and he ran well on his first run for nine months here last time.
It would be no surprise to see him take a step forward from that.
3.35
ELMONJED caught the eye when a close-up sixth here last when seven furlongs may have been on the stretching side.
That was his first run for eight months so he should improve plenty for fitness and the first-time cheekpieces may help William Haggas’s runner who has top Irish pilot Chris Hayes in the saddle.
Woodhay Wonder can do no wrong and extended his winning run to four – all at Newmarket – last time.
Another 5lb rise in the weights shouldn’t stop him going close again although he’s best on fast ground.
Run Boy Run improved for dropping back to this trip when second at Haydock and is interesting at big odds off a low weight with his rider taking off another 5lb.
Ziggy’s Condor went down in a photo over course and distance last time and should be capable of better on just his fifth outing.
CHESTER
3.20
TERAABB ran out of petrol up Ascot’s stamina-sapping straight mile last time and will be much happier over a shorter trip on this turning track.
He was in winning form over seven furlongs at Newbury in April and is only 3lb higher in the weights here.
Plenty of in-form horses have copped high draws which isn’t ideal at Chester.
Burdett won easily at York last time and can’t be ruled out despite coming from box 14.
Sailthisshipalone is better berthed in eight and was last seen going close on the Knavesmire in October. He will be a threat if fit enough.
Witness Stand also comes out of a double-figure stall but ran well here when second last time and is another to consider.
Brunel Nation has form on quirky tracks so should handle Chester’s turns and has an each-way shout.
Monfrid is drawn two for William Haggas and showed promise on handicap debut at Goodwood and is another real danger.
