NEET UG 2024 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency(NTA) will announce the NEET UG 2024 Answer Key anytime soon at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The NEET UG Answer Key 2024 will be provisional. Candidates who have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test can access the NEET Answer Key 2024 by entering the application number. The NTA NEET examination was held on May 5 across 4750 centres in 571 cities (including 14 cities abroad.
Examinees who have appeared for the medical entrance examination will only be allowed to raise grievances or challenges against it. Within the stipulated time, candidates must provide and submit the supporting documents, if they claim that the NEET Answer Key(when published) has some discrepancies. - Click on “Challenge of Provisional AnswerKey, Display of Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet and Display of Recorded Response for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) –2024”
- Download NEET Answer Key 2024 by entering the examination roll number/registration number and password.
- Your NEET answer key 2024 will be displayed on the screen. Download the pdf and take a printout of it for future reference.
NEET Marking Scheme: For Section A (MCQs): To answer a question, the candidates need to choose one option
corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:
- (i) Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
- (ii) Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
- (iii) Unanswered: No mark (0).
- (iv) If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
- (v) If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
- (vi) If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.
Once you have downloaded the NEET Answer Key(provisional), identify your correct responses. Give yourself 4 marks for the right responses. Deduct 1 marks for a wrong response/answer. At least, add up all your marks for correct responses and subtract the deductions for wrong.
Candidates will be given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated in the Public Notice.
Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the NTA with the help of a panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the NEET Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly.
Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the NEET result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.
