That way, you can cancel any “vampire” bills that you’d forgotten about.

Or maybe you know you’re being charged but you’ve left the subscription running because you assumed it would take too much time to clear up.

With spending season coming up, there’s no better time to cancel any subscriptions you don’t need any more.

You might find that you’re paying for a few apps or services that you simply no longer need.

It’s also possible that you’ve signed up for a trial and there’s a bill pending.

For instance, if you joined an annual subscription trial, you could be hit with a large charge that you’d completely forgotten was coming.

Whatever the case, simply head into your Subscriptions on iPhone to sort it out.

How to find and cancel iPhone subscriptions

Go into your Settings app and then tap on your name at the head of the page.

Now tap on the Subcriptions tab, which should be a few options down from the top.

From there it’s possible to tap on any subscription to see its details.

You should be able to see the name of the subscription and the cost of the plan.

It’ll show how often you’re paying (for instance, monthly) and the renewal date for when you’ll next be charged.

There may be an option to See All Plans, which will show you alternative ways of paying – like an annual plan instead of monthly.

And there should be a big red button at the bottom that reads Cancel Subscription.

Tap it to cancel any subscription of your choosing.

If there’s no Cancel button or there’s an expiration message then it’s already cancelled.

Remember: if you cancel a subscription, you’ll still get your remaining time on that membership.

But your account won’t automatically renew when the subscription is due another payment.
