RANGERS are said to be right on schedule to end their Ibrox exile next month.
The Light Blues reached an agreement to rent Hampden for an initial two-month spell back in July.
Their traditional home of 137-years couldn’t be used after works to install a new disabled spectators’ platform in the Copland Road Stand hit delivery delays.
Imported steel failed to arrive on time and left the Gers with a dilemma, eventually solved by their temporary shift across the southside of Glasgow to their Hampden halfway house.
Now, according to a report the Gers WON’T be seeking an extension and will be back home within WEEKS.
Gers chairman John Bennett had initially laid out a two-month timeline for their temporary switch to the National Stadium in his fans’ update last month.

And according to the Daily Record, that’s how long they’ll be away from Ibrox as a third shipment of steel has arrived on time.
Gers had considered Murrayfield and even a move to ENGLAND with Ibrox out of commission.
But the re-written timeline is now running to plan after the construction chaos eased and Philippe Clement’s side are set to play their fixture with Hibs at Edmiston Drive.
An additional ‘home’ game has also been added to their calendar after the weekend win over ST Johnstone and quarter-final draw with Dundee in the Premier Sports Cup – but no details of where the game, due to be played on September 21 or 22, will be held.
