Speaking on Kaya FM, Mosimane answered questions surrounding his interest in the Kaizer Chiefs vacant post.

“I go anywhere, I’m a professional, as long as you show me the vision, and we are aligned.

“Any team, any team, I will go work for it. Because I want to have the energy. I don’t want to wake up and then I’m doing it for the sake of doing it,” he said.

“I need to say why do I want to do this?

“So you asked me about Kaizer Chiefs. What an institution. I mean, I supported the team when I was young. In fact, Doctor Khumalo’s father, Eliakim ‘Pro’ Khumalo, may his soul rest in peace, he used to take me to the matches of Kaizer Chiefs.
