NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has released the IIT JAM 2024 Answer Key and Question Paper today, February 20. Candidates who have appeared for the Joint Admission Test for Masters 2024 can download the provisional answer keys along with the question papers for Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Geology (GG), Physics (PH).
IIT JAM 2024 exam was conducted on February 11, 2024 (Sunday) in two shifts.The forenoon shift was held for CY, GG, MA and the afternoon shift was held for BT, EN, MS, PH.

How to download IIT JAM 2024 Answer Key?
Step 1: Visit the official website at jam.iitm.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link displayed as “JAM 2024 Master Question Papers and Answer Keys Now Available.”
Step 3: A new webpage will open, click on the link available for your test paper.
Step 4: A PDF will open on the screen, go through the questions and answers given in the provisional key.
Step 5: Download the same and take its printout for further reference.

Those who are not satisfied with the IIT JAM provisional answer key may raise objections against the same through the website between February 26 to February 28, 2024. The experts will review the objections raised by the candidates and if found correct, the changes will be made and the final answer key will be issued.
IIT JAM Result 2024 will be declared on March 22. Earlier, the institute released the response sheets for MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc – PhD, and MSc – PhD Dual Degree.
According to the marking scheme, in the MCQ section, for 1 mark questions – 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer and for 2 mark questions – 2/3 will be deducted for each incorrect answer. However, there’s no negative marking for MSQs and NAT sections.
